Membership shall be open to professional and business ladies who have fully or partially retired from their normal profession or business or are about to retire. An existing member shall introduce any applicant for membership and the committee shall approve her application. The Club reserves the right to limit the number of members. Members who do not attend for three consecutive meetings shall, dependent on circumstances and with the agreement of the member and at the discretion of the committee, be asked to freeze their membership until such time as they can regularly attend and so make room for the next lady on the waiting list. The name of the member concerned would be held at the top of the waiting list.
